About the Role
Join Dijiwa Sanctuaries as a Japanese Cook and become an integral part of our F&B team at Blue Karma Village, where authentic culinary artistry meets the warm hospitality that defines our sanctuary for the soul.
As a Japanese Cook at Dijiwa, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting exquisite Japanese dishes that delight our guests and reflect the rich culinary heritage of Japan. Your expertise in traditional Japanese cuisine will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences that embody the luxury boutique hospitality we are known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare authentic Japanese dishes including sushi, sashimi, tempura, yakitori, and donburi with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in all kitchen areas
- Source, select, and handle premium Japanese ingredients ensuring optimal freshness and quality
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus that surprise and delight our guests
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on Japanese cooking techniques and traditions
- Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully, aligning with Dijiwa's luxury aesthetic
- Respond guest feedback with creativity and adaptability,个性化定制菜肴 when needed
- Manage inventory and minimize waste while maintaining ingredient quality standards
