As an FB Service Trainee at Mathis Retreat Ubud, you will embark on a transformative internship designed to immerse you in the art of luxury boutique hospitality. This role is your gateway to mastering the fundamentals of exceptional guest service within our serene, culturally-rich environment. You will work alongside our passionate team to deliver personalized, memorable dining experiences that reflect the warmth and authenticity of Indonesian hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in all aspects of restaurant and bar service, including table setup, order taking, food and beverage delivery, and clearing, while adhering to Dijiwa's high standards of presentation and timing.
• Provide warm, attentive, and personalized service to guests, anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests to create a seamless and memorable dining journey.
• Learn and accurately describe menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and cultural significance, to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and equipment, ensuring a pristine and inviting atmosphere.
• Support the team in inventory management, including restocking supplies and assisting with basic stock-taking procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service colleagues to ensure smooth communication and efficient operation during service periods.
• Uphold all safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in compliance with hotel policies and local regulations.
