As the Engineering Supervisor at our breathtaking Mathis Lodge Amed, you will be the guardian of this foundation. This is a pivotal contract role where your technical expertise and leadership will ensure our guests experience uninterrupted tranquility, from the gentle hum of the air conditioning to the perfect temperature of our infinity pool overlooking the Bali Sea. You will lead a small, dedicated team, fostering a culture of proactive maintenance, safety, and meticulous care for our unique lodge environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the daily engineering operations, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections for all lodge facilities, with special attention to villa structures, water systems (including pools), and electrical networks.
• Supervise, schedule, and mentor the engineering team, promoting skill development, safety protocols, and a guest-centric service attitude in all technical tasks.
• Proactively identify and resolve maintenance issues before they impact the guest experience, utilizing a detailed work order system and regular property walks.
• Manage relationships with local contractors and suppliers for specialized repairs, ensuring quality workmanship and cost-effectiveness while adhering to Dijiwa standards.
• Oversee the lodge's energy and water conservation programs, implementing sustainable practices that align with our respect for the natural beauty of Amed.
• Ensure full compliance with all local safety regulations and conduct regular safety training and equipment checks for the engineering team.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to guest room maintenance requests, demonstrating professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach to minimize disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and repair logs.
