KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and cook menu items according to Dijiwa's standards and recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality for every dish served
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, following all sanitation protocols and ensuring compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations during breakfast, lunch, and dinner periods, supporting seamless guest dining experiences
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and properly organizing food supplies while minimizing waste
• Participate in menu development discussions and contribute ideas for seasonal or locally-inspired dishes that reflect Balinese and Indonesian culinary heritage
• Keep workstations clean and organized, maintaining equipment and reporting any maintenance needs promptly to ensure a safe working environment
• Support special events and private dining requests, adapting to guest preferences and creating customized culinary experiences when needed
• Engage positively with colleagues and guests, embodying the warm, welcoming spirit that defines Dijiwa's sanctuary philosophy
