About the Role

As a Cook Trainee at Ecozy Dijiwa Canggu, you will embark on a hands-on culinary journey within our Food & Beverages department. This internship is designed for passionate individuals eager to learn the art of hospitality cooking in a luxury boutique environment, where Indonesian flavors meet global culinary standards. You will work alongside our experienced chefs, gaining foundational skills in kitchen operations, food preparation, and presentation, all while contributing to the creation of memorable dining moments for our guests.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Assisting senior chefs with daily mise en place, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients according to established recipes and standards.
• Learning and adhering to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols (HACCP) to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Supporting the preparation of components for our breakfast service, light meals, and special dietary requests, with a focus on fresh, local ingredients.
• Observing and practicing basic cooking techniques under supervision, contributing to the consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your workstation, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
• Collaborating effectively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service flow and timely dish delivery.
• Developing an understanding of our menu philosophy, which celebrates Indonesian culinary heritage with a contemporary twist.
