About the Role
Step into the heart of Dijiwa Sanctuaries and begin your journey toward a career in luxury hospitality finance. As an Accounting Trainee at Beehouse Dijiwa Ubud, you will join our Finance and Accounting team, contributing to accurate financial operations while learning how thoughtful administration supports every meaningful guest experience. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented, curious, and service-minded individual who wants to develop professional accounting skills within a warm, culturally inspired environment.
This internship offers structured mentorship, practical exposure to day-to-day hotel accounting activities, and the opportunity to understand how finance strengthens relationships across the property. You will help maintain records, support reconciliations, organize documentation, and gain insight into the financial rhythm of an intimate luxury hotel. Your work may include supporting purchase invoices, recording transactions, assisting with month-end preparation, and collaborating with colleagues across Finance, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the accurate recording, coding, and filing of financial transactions and supporting documentation.
- Support the preparation and reconciliation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Help verify invoices, payment records, and operational expenses in a timely and organized manner.
- Assist Finance colleagues with month-end closing activities, including account reviews and variance checks.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper controls when handling financial and employee information.
- Respond to internal inquiries professionally, promptly, and with attention to detail.
- Coordinate with team members across the hotel to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies respectfully.
- Share observations and improvement ideas while showing openness to feedback and continued learning.
Success in this role means producing dependable work, asking thoughtful questions, and demonstrating a guest service mindset even in administrative tasks. You should be careful with numbers, comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital tools, organized in your approach, and willing to take ownership of your learning. Equally important is your ability to communicate with warmth and professionalism, collaborate across diverse teams, and represent the values of Dijiwa Sanctuaries.
Why this role matters at Dijiwa
Behind every peaceful sanctuary is a strong foundation of trust and care. Accurate and transparent financial processes help our teams operate with confidence, make responsible business decisions, and focus on what matters most: creating deeply personal experiences for our guests. Your contribution will help keep the property running smoothly and allow colleagues to devote their energy to delivering exceptional hospitality shaped by Indonesian warmth and genuine connection.
If you are ready to grow, contribute, and learn within a luxury boutique hotel where every person is valued, we would be delighted to welcome you to Beehouse Dijiwa Ubud.
